Two sisters with a deep love for horses from an early age—riding and competing, spending long nights at the barn, and growing up immersed in 4-H. Our childhood was shaped by early mornings in the saddle, the smell of leather and shavings, and a bond with horses that only grew stronger with time.
Our father saw that passion. He nurtured it. He believed in us long before we ever knew where it would lead. It’s because of him we ride today.
What started as a simple love for horses has grown into something more than we ever imagined. Today, we run a thriving boarding, sales, and training facility—fueled by hard work, heart, and a lifetime of dedication.
Every horse we care for, every rider we support, every early morning and late night—it’s all part of the life we love and feel so blessed to live.
Francine, a lifelong equestrian, began riding at age five and competed in hunters and jumpers before transitioning to dressage as a teenager. A Gold Medalist, she has trained horses through the Grand Prix level and coached riders to international success. As Dressage Director for the American Horse Show Association (AHSA), she organized the 1998 World Cup Dressage Finals and assisted the US Vaulting Team at the 1998 World Equestrian Games in Rome.
Francine competed internationally with her horse Noble Baron, later leasing him to an FEI Junior/Young Rider who excelled at the National and North American Junior Championships.
She also has extensive experience with para-dressage, loaning horses to riders like Paralympian Kebbie Cannon, who qualified for the 2000 Sydney Games on her horse, Cavalier.
With guidance from top mentors like Gary Rockwell, Linda Zang, and Walter Zettl, Francine’s training philosophy emphasizes listening to the horse, fostering a deep mutual understanding between rider and horse for peak performance.
Jackie and her sister Francine are the driving force behind Jericho Sport Horses. Founded in 2019 they made their dream a reality.
Jackie’s equestrian journey began at age 5, quickly establishing herself as a competitive young rider. By the time she was 13, she earned a spot competing at the PA National Horse show. During her time at college, Jackie continued her equestrian pursuits as a member of the WVU equestrian team, where she maintained her commitment to riding. Jackie is an USEF member, an upper-level dressage rider who enjoys training under the guidance of her sister. Dedicated to ongoing growth, she actively participates in clinics at Jericho, always striving to refine her abilities and deepen her love for the sport.
In addition to her equestrian pursuits, she is a devoted wife and mother of three. Jackie also plays a pivotal role in the operations at Jericho making sure the horses have what they need and their clients are happy while at Jericho.
